$5.71 million State of Texas contract for Operator XR Systems
We’re thrilled to announce Operator XR has secured a contract worth up to AUD $5.71 million to supply its flagship OP-2 virtual reality training systems to the Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas DPS).
Largest OP-2 Deployment to Date
This milestone deal marks the largest order to date for Operator XR’s OP-2 systems and significantly strengthens the company’s U.S. footprint. The contract includes:
A package of OP-2 software licenses and VR training systems
Implementation, onboarding, and two years of support
An additional three years of optional support services
The initial order totals $4.3 million AUD, with payment scheduled following system delivery in Q2 FY26. Optional services across years 3, 4, and 5 bring the contract’s total potential value to $5.71 million AUD
Supporting Law Enforcement at Scale
The OP-2 systems will be used for immersive scenario-based training across the State of Texas. This includes tactical decision-making, de-escalation, multi-officer coordination, and mission rehearsal in realistic environments, helping officers train more frequently and more safely.
